Pokemon-Go is cool, but people looking for real Pokemon will probably find it completely unsatisfying.
So it’s as much as matches like Evertale to fill that gap – until Nintendo releases an effective Pokémon match on a cell phone. May happen!
Luckily for people, Evertale is a pretty good attempt at turning the formula into a mobile device. But he also brings enough fresh ideas to the table to stand on his own.
You play with Crestbearer, who is supposed to be the trainer of the Pokémon. Currently, the entire world of Erden is afflicted with a curse called Pandemonium, and only the Comforters can end it.
This is an important narrative review to be written and narrated if your humility is cliché-laden. However, it is enough to send you the packaging to experience the experience on the other side of the Erden environment.
You will start with one partner wielding a sword but add to your team of critters and other musicians.
Catching creatures
It works in Evertale in much the same way as in Pokémon. You will bump into heavy marijuana while waiting for the meeting to begin. There will even be a turn-based conflict, and once you’ve put on the monster enough, you can try to grab it.
Be successful and you can instantly include a new monster in your group. You can then fight side by side with the creature to strengthen it, and finally, tap it if it becomes powerful enough.
The battle is also incredibly tactical. Each personality has several skills that they can use, and as such, they often bounce off each other. The very first creature we catch can poison enemies using just one ability, and then use the next to deal with severe damage done to enemies that are stereotyped.
Be careful with skills
You need to be careful when using skills in Evertale. Each one takes a specific period of time, and it puts you in line with your remaining loved ones and enemies.
It’s easy to see who got up and how long it will take for them to hit in a convenient visible line, so it’s really not that hard to counter enemies.
It is interesting to explore the whole world as it is gorgeous. The art style can be a combination of hand-drawn characters and pixelated environments, plus it’s really nice to look at.
There are also many reasons to explore because:
- The planet is awesome, combining pixelated environments with hand-drawn characters.
- The control system is also simple: you click on the place where you need to go. It works great on a phone and we didn’t miss the opportunity to use the digital joystick.
- You can hit certain creatures, find chests full of treasures, or even match up with an NPC that can provide you with pursuit or fight you. It looks like Pokemon because of respect.
Collect the items
While playing Evertale, you will collect many weapons, weapons, and equipment that your party mates and creatures are equipped with. This will give your adventure an even more role-playing experience.
Time to confront the elephant in the area: IAP. It’s true, you can buy items with real money to get things done faster – probably the most notable of these might be your ability to instantly collect new creatures.
You can get these items for free, but much faster. But we really thought it was necessary. You can grab so many critters just by exploring the world, we never thought of spending money.
This is a prerequisite if you plan on participating in PvP (we need more time for you to learn this particular method), however, to get only one player, we cannot imagine that you need to invest a cent to get through this.
We really enjoyed our time with Evertale.
It features solid writing, adorable typography, and a tactical battle that will keep you coming back for more time.
